Computer Lab Research, 12/12/13

This map shows where different biomes are in the world. Look at the map key to see what the different colors represent.
Start Here and write down notes on your handout with information about the typical animals found in your biome. Read about the plants for future knowledge.

Find information about many different animals in your biome. You should be looking specifically for their adaptations. Click on your biome at the side to go to the list of animals. Your group should come up with 4 animals for your foldable.

You also can "Google" or search the internet for other sites that will have information about your animal adaptations. Key words to use could be:

"animal adaptations biomes"; "animal adaptations Arctic Tundra"

Final part: look for pictures of your animals that will go well in your Foldable. When you find a good one, okay it with Mr. Jerry for printing.

Welcome to our classroom!

This is my first attempt at bringing a blog into the classroom. I'm excited about the potential it can bring in terms of communication with our homes and community. It will be a fun, modern way for our classroom story to be told and those of us in Mr. Jerry's class in technology.

Here goes nothing!
